As a student activist, the division of the National student front has been a headache to me, every well meaning student if not Ghanaian would wonder what is happening to the front of the upcoming generational leaders who are mostly made up of students from the various tertiary and basic institutions of this country.
I wonder on countless occasions if the Ghanaian student front has a future?
Can the national leadership of Ghanaian students make any meaningful contributions towards the development and achievement of Ghanaian student at the National level?
I asked myself on countless occasions, what is the essence of our national front of the Ghanaian student union?
Would there be a time for this union to satisfactorily come out and say, we’ve done our best, we’ve achieved the aim, vision and mission of the union we all belong?
Could there be a time that this union would stand up to the task and liaise with the stakeholders of this our mother Ghana for the benefit of each and every student in Ghana?
The inability of the union to do the above has resulted in so many challenges we face today as students and youths of this country, example, unemployment, posting of students who read education at the universities, fees, students loan delays just to mention but a few.
The march towards realizing these is here, His Excellences Tinkaro and Gombila are on their way to make a history, that nature, Ghana and the entire world would remember them for.
Lets all unite behind them and push the agenda of uniting the DIVIDED NUGS and bring it back to what it’s supposed to do. On this note, all tom, dick and harry are invited to the consultative assembly meeting scheduled to take place on Wednesday 31 July, 2019, in Kumasi, Kessben University.
Furthermore, I want to use this opportunity to admit that, the journey is not going to be rosy, critics would come, naysayers would stand before the two leaders, political parties may say no to your efforts, unions and groups who benefited one way or the other would rise against you, but I want to assure you that, God’s purpose and plan may delay but cannot be denied. To make history is easy just as to destroy what has been made. Mr. Gombilla and Tinkaro, rise up and fulfill your calling, it’s not you but the Lord want to save Ghanaian students at this moment. Allow HIM to use you, allow him to make you a HISTORY MAKER and your generation shall praise you forever.
Remember that, the very students we intend to lead today, would be the stakeholders of our Nation tomorrow. Generations would not forgive you this time should this attempt fail us again, keep in your mind that Ghanaian students are the FOCUS of the union (NUGS).
Every step you take, every move you do, God and Nature shall give you success.
We therefore hope to see a UNITED NUGS as a legacy left behind by Mr. Tinkaro and Gombilla’s Administration.
Remember, Ghanaian students are the focus and deserve better.
We the ENTIRE STUDENTS populace are behind you go ahead Mr. President.
I shall come back with much details.
